Which are the best engineering colleges in India after IITs NITs and BITS in India

IITs/BITS/NITs are the most sought after colleges in India. It is a dream to every aspiring Indian engineering student to get into these colleges. The path to get into these colleges is not easy either. lakhs of students aspire to be a part of these top tier colleges.
For the sake of simplicity let me call this as "Group A" institutions. What are the options if not the " Group A". Here is a compilation of "Group B" institutions (mind you this is by no means exhaustive)

1.IIIT Hyderabad:
One of the best engineering colleges in India for computer science. It has produced the highest no of selections in GSOC till now.

2.IISC Bangalore:
One of India's highest ranked colleges in the world rankings.

3.NSIT-
One of the most popular college in North India. Superb coding culture and extraordinary placement records...!!!

4.Jadavapur University-
Another highly reputed university of India. Admission is through the WBJEE exam conducted every year. Also, one of the most affordable university in the country.

5. Delhi Technological University-
Along with NSIT, this college has a huge brand name in North India. Conducts the longest placement season in the country and has a large alumni network.
6. DA-IICT
Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology, is a technological university located in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. It is named after the Gujarati entrepreneur and Reliance group founder Dhirubhai Ambani. It is run by the Dhirubhai Ambani Foundation and is promoted by the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group.

7. VIT ( Vellore Institute of Technology)
Vellore Institute of Technology, informally VIT University, formerly Vellore Engineering College is a private deemed university institute located in Vellore, Tamil Nadu,

8. MIT (Manipal Institute of Technology)
The Manipal Institute of Technology is a constituent institution of Manipal Academy of Higher Education that specializes in the fields of engineering and technology. MIT contains 16 academic departments and awards undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees.[1] Established in 1957 in ManipalKarnatakaIndia, it is one of the first self-financed colleges in India
